Basic Info BioEveryone who is reading this probably knows who I am but I'll put a little something anyway. I moved to Shanghai from near Chicago in Oct. 2005. I am really enjoying it here even though I don't speak Manderin. I decided to start this live journal so my friends (and maybe friends of friends) in the US could read my stories and stay in touch a little.
Also, anyone from the US who is visiting shanghai should feel free to get in touch with me. And anyone who's considering moving to china, I should let you know: It is easy to get a job teaching english as long as you don't have a thick accent, you don't need to speak any manderin.
